ClauseClear ("the Service"), operated by Ultra Solutions Ltd, is designed to respect your privacy. Your Sale and Purchase Agreement is one of your most sensitive documents, so the Service is built so that your document never leaves your device.
When you paste text or upload a PDF or text file, that content is read and analysed entirely within your web browser. The document content is not uploaded to a server, not stored by us, and not shared with any third party. When you close or refresh the page, the content is discarded. We never see it.
The core analyzer does not require cookies to function. If we introduce analytics or preference cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
The Service may display advertising to support running costs. Advertising is not enabled in this version (advertising areas are placeholders only). If third-party advertising is enabled in future, third-party ad providers may set cookies or use similar technologies to show and measure ads. In that case we will: update this policy to name the ad providers and link to their privacy policies; provide a way to manage consent where required under the Privacy Act 2020 and applicable law; and clearly distinguish advertising from educational content.
Because we do not collect your document or require an account, we do not build a profile of you from your use of the analyzer. Technical hosting information is used only to operate, secure, and improve the reliability of the website.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share document content because we never receive it. Technical information held by our hosting and (if enabled) advertising providers is handled under their respective privacy policies.
You have the right to request access to, and correction of, any personal information we hold about you. Because the Service is designed not to collect personal information from the analyzer, we will usually hold little or none. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, contact us using the details below. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
The Service is intended for adults making property decisions and is not directed at children.
We may update this policy. Material changes — particularly any change to local-only processing, or the introduction of advertising or analytics — will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
